I read about a new Stock, Aitken & Waterman production on Liverpool Echo:

It's a song called Beautiful Dangerous People by a guy called Ellis.

Is it true? Can I put the news on my blog?

Thank you and best regards from Italy!

Oh well... The dream is gone if it's true.  If it's SAW, the sound is very grown up and nothing like we're used to.

All the other songs sound like something Klone would reject.

I don't think so... it reminds me of My Life Story's album "the Golden Mile"! I loved it!

Yes, if this is what they are producing now, it's over for me.

If this is true (and coming from somebody who was actually in the video, she can't be that mislead, surely?) this certainly sounds very interesting.

If it is SAW, this is the most surprising news of the year. It certainly doesn't sound like ANYTHING they've EVER done before (but does contain quite a SAW-ish bridge - but then again could just be production only??).

However, there are other tracks there to listen to, which god knows when or where they were recorded  - like the interesting "Iconic" which has a very DOA feel! The beatles-ish "Cilla Black's TV", and other electronic tracks, including a cover of Erasure's "Stop!"...

What's going on?? Somebody knows something and isn't saying...? Spill the beans!!!

Doesn't sound like Stock/Aitken/Waterman to me. Maybe a publicity stunt?

Even though it wasn't a typical SAW composition, Roadblock had a certain sound which was as synthetical as their usual songs.

The arrangement of this Ellis track sounds nothing like SAW, it's way too overproduced and the song lacks structure, good chord changes and most importantly a tune. This one merely tries to sound like a Bond theme tune, but strip away the production you're left with a mediocre song. Again like with so many of todays songs the focus is on sound rather than song.

All these songs from this new artist sound very good and "Out of the blue" has got a little SAW touch in my opinion. Hope if they're involved in this production it will be a new start to success! Fingers crossed Cheesy

Iconic sounds like it could be SAW. Beautiful Dangerous People sounds like it is more orchestral than pop production. Looking on Ellis's Myspace page I see Phil Harding is a 'friend'.
