Just won this one today on eBay:

Artist: Chris Britton
Title: One Nine For A Lady Breaker
Produced by Peter Collins for Loose End Productions
Label: Logo Records
Cat. No.: LO 410
Year: 1982

One of the first records (if not the very first!) written by Mike Stock!
And I've heard it's actually Mike who sings this song!

Oooh!  I'd love to hear more about it too.  Style-wise is there anything you'd say it sounds like?

Ok, my 7" single came today!!
It's a slower song, the same pace as "What A Night" and "Especially For You".
It reminds me of both those songs, and in some ways Scooch's "The Next Step".

It's really pop, has the same bridge chord changes as the first two tracks I mentioned. It also wouldn't be out of place on a Bucks Fizz album.

AND there's a B side called "One Foot On The Ground", written by Mike alone, it's a ballad and not really that great.

PS it's Mike on vocals, I can spot that voice anywhere!!

And mine has arrived today!
Very happy with it! I'd love to attach a sound snippet for those who haven't ever hear this song but... how do I do that?

i believe it needs to be saved as an mp3 first.  Then open the file, and then upload it.

I google such conversion and it is possible by using a software called Audacity which i believe is free.  Here is a YouTube link where one shows you how to do it.

I do hope yours will be successful.  I would love to hear that song as well  Wink
